Full Screen Panoramic Images

All but two* of our Interactive Guided Tours have 'full screen capability'. This is a really nice feature which helps you get a more immersive experience from your tour. Simply double clicking on the 360 degree image will make it fill your monitor screen. This really is a 'wow' factor. The accompanying audio and clickable hotspots means you don't actually need to return to the smaller view until you reach the end of your tour. Simply double clicking again, or pressing 'Escape' returns you to the standard view. We're so convinced of this that we reshot every tour we could so that you could benefit from this feature.

What are the advantages of an Interactive Guided Tour which has 'Full Screen Capability'?

  • Larger scenes mean you get to see more of the location!

  • You get a more immersive experience simply because there is less to distract your attention.

  • 'Full Screen Capability' works regardless of computer resolution or monitor size. You can even use it through a projector and on an interactive whiteboard!

  • We're so convinced of the effectiveness of this feature that we redid most of our virtual tours and still kept prices the same!

*Unfortunately we were unable to re-shoot the "Paddle Steamer Waverley Virtual Tour" and the "Inchcolm Island Virtual Tour" CD-ROMs using the high quality lens. Full screen capability is available on the "Inchcolm" CD-ROM but at a lower quality than the rest of our images. The Magdalen Chapel, Greyfriars Kirk and Bannerman's Pub shots (all from the "Old Town of Edinburgh Interactive Guided Tour") were also shot using this lens.
